The Family Ski & Snowboard Area

This year, discover one of the great winter attractions of the Kawarthas – Devil’s Elbow Ski Area. Tucked away minutes from Peterborough, Lindsay, Port Hope and Oshawa. The Elbow offers hours of fun for skiers and snowboarders from novice to expert.

Meander down our Bunny Hill or accelerate down Satan’s Run. Discover Paradise. It’s just around the corner from Purgatory. Our state of the art snowmaking and grooming equipment ensure the best possible conditions every day of the ski season.

With six modern chairlifts (4 Quad and 2 Double) ready to whisk you to the top of the hill, line ups aren’t a problem. For Nordic skiers, we offer 8.5 kms of trail winding through sheltered evergreen and hardwood forests.

Our Ski School is staffed by qualified CSIA instructors and offers classes and programs for the whole family. Alpine, snowboard and junior racing programs are also available. Skis or snowboard need a tune-up or repairs? Visit the Pro Shop. The latest equipment and accessories are available for sale. Ski and snowboard rental equipment is available by the day.

Our cafeteria, with its stone fireplace, is located in our spacious, two-story, day lodge overlooking the hills. If you’re feeling hungry or cold during the day you can choose from a wide variety of freshly prepared hot and cold foods. Ski the full day, morning only, afternoon only or take advantage of an economical season pass. School and group rates are available.
